FAU Executive Master of Taxation Ranked Among Nation’s Top 5 by Forbes Advisor

Florida Atlantic University's Executive Education programs was ranked among the top 5 in the nation for its Executive Master of Taxation program, according to new rankings from Forbes Advisor. 

The Executive Master of Taxation program was among the top in the nation for online master's of taxation programs. 

"Students in the Master of Taxation program are taught by a group of highly qualified faculty, including practitioners who hold positions in public accounting and government," said George Young, Ph.D., director of the School of Accounting. 

The Executive Master of Taxation program in Executive Education in FAU's College of Business, is designed for advanced working professionals with backgrounds in accounting, taxation, finance and other fields. The program allows working professionals to complete their degree fully online with live with interactive live streamed lectures, online fully asynchronous, hybrid, or on campus, with the educational, technical and analytical skills to build success careers within the taxation field. 

Participants from any field are welcome to apply as the curriculum allows non-accounting undergraduate degree students to complete the program by taking two additional courses built into the schedule.

Forbes Advisor rankings were based on a proprietary methodology drawing data from sources such as the National Center for Education Statistics. Each master's program listed  scored highly on ranking metrics such as postgraduate earnings, student-to-faculty ratio, tuition cost and overall graduation rate. 

The ranking from Forbes Advisor follows other significant rankings for the college. Florida Atlantic University’s College of Business advanced to No. 18 in the top 20 schools for online MBA programs, according to The Princeton Review, up from No. 36 the previous year. The College of Business was also ranked among the top overall MBA programs in the country by Fortune and earned new graduate rankings from U.S. News & World Report in entrepreneurship, product/operations management, information systems and business analytics, among others.
