Faculty Recognitions

Jennifer Attonito, Kevin Cox; Karen Dye, Ting Levy, Todd McClure, Judy Monestime, and Joseph Patton are recognized as the College of Business Division of Research Associates for 2023-2024. Congratulations to each of these instructional faculty members who will receive a stipend for their research activities this academic year.

Anna Agapova, Associate Professor, and Uliana Filatova, PhD candidate, Finance department, have had their article "Analysts’ Institutional Client Catering and Reputation Tradeoff: Strategic Timing of Recommendations," accepted for publication in the Journal of Accounting, Auditing, and Finance (AJG 3).

Melanie Lorenz, Associate Professor, Marketing, with co-authors have had their article titled "The innovation paradox of global work: Does cultural tightness shape or constrain innovative behaviour?" accepted for publication in the Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology. 

Mark Packard, Associate Professor, Management, with co-authors, have had their paper titled, "Made to be broken? A theory of regulatory governance and rule-breaking entrepreneurial action," selected as the Journal of Business Venturing Lazaridis Institute Paper of the Year 2022. Congratulations!

Scott Seavey, Assistant Professor in the School of Accounting, with co-authors, have had his paper titled, "Earnings announcement content as a signal of reliability", accepted for publication in the Journal of Auditing, Accounting & Finance (AJG 3, A on the ABDC list, and on the SOA Preferred Journal list).

Charles Yang, Professor, Finance, with co-authors, has had their article, “The market price to embedded value gap: An analysis of European life insurers," accepted for publication in Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting. (ABS3).
