Research Kudos & Recognitions

David Fang, School of Accounting, has been selected as the Graduate Faculty Member of the year. 

Angela Gaze, School of Accounting, has been selected as the Undergraduate Faculty member of the Year.

Sofia Johan, Associate Professor, Department of Finance, has been named the University Scholar of the Year at the Associate Professor rank.

Ken Johnson received the The Richard Ratcliff Award at ARES (American Real Estate Society). The award recognizes a significant single innovative research contribution that extends the real estate discipline, introduces a new paradigm, and “pushes the envelope” of real estate knowledge.

Peter Ricci was recently recognized as one of the 100 Most Inspirational Leaders in Hospitality and Travel for 2023 from the International Hospitality Institute. 

Len Trevino, Professor, Department of Management Programs, with co-authors have had their paper titled, “The effect of gender inequities in the classroom and beyond in US business schools”  received the Management and Organizational Behavior Teaching Society's 2023 Fritz Roethlisberger Memorial Award for best paper published in Journal of Management Education.
