The Florida Atlantic Entrepreneurship Institute Entrepreneur Boot Camp is a hands-on program designed to help aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs turn ideas into action. Through expert instruction, practical exercises, and connections to Florida Atlantic’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, participants build the skills and confidence to launch, validate, and grow a venture.
Open to Florida Atlantic students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members from all backgrounds and disciplines. No previous entrepreneurship experience is required.

Meet the Instructor | Dr. Kevin Cox
Dr. Cox holds a Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship from Florida Atlantic University’s College of Business, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Management with a minor in Entrepreneurship and a Master of Science in Entrepreneurship from the University of Florida. He serves as Director of the Florida Atlantic Entrepreneurship Institute and is actively involved in entrepreneurship education and venture development through Florida Atlantic’s academic programs, The Runway at Florida Atlantic, Entrepreneur Boot Camp, and the Veterans Florida Entrepreneurship Program.
Dr. Cox has taught, mentored, and advised hundreds of entrepreneurs and startup companies, helping founders launch and grow successful ventures. He has also authored numerous research articles, book chapters, and conference papers on entrepreneurship and innovation.
