Entrepreneurship
The Entrepreneurship Ph.D. concentration at FAU provides the specialized preparation needed by nascent entrepreneurship scholars seeking to make significant contributions through their research and teaching. Early in the program our students are paired with at least one faculty mentor who shares their research interests. During the two years of coursework, the following topic areas will usually be covered.

- Entrepreneurial Economics

We have a very strong entrepreneurship faculty, with several members recognized nationally and worldwide. The program is both selective and fairly small, which allows students to work closely with our faculty members. Our students regularly present their research at prestigious conferences, and many have academic journal publications prior to graduation. Job placements are strong, with our students obtaining positions at universities nationwide.
