The PhD concentration in marketing is designed to prepare students for a career in research, teaching, and service at the university level. The program is very selective, and does not admit students every year.
The Marketing Concentration provides a broad survey of most of the major areas of Marketing. A particular program of study will be tailored to each student’s specific interests.
The marketing faculty has research expertise in a number of different areas within marketing including business-to-business marketing, internet marketing, consumer behavior, global marketing, product management, relationship marketing, sales management, services marketing, and hospitality management.
