As we reflect on the success of this year's symposium, we are inspired by the passion and dedication of our student researchers. Their work not only contributes to the academic community but also prepares them for future challenges in their respective fields. We look forward to continuing to foster a culture of research and inquiry that pushes the boundaries of knowledge and creativity. Congratulations once again to all participants and mentors. Your hard work and dedication continue to make the FAU Undergraduate Research Symposium a beacon of academic excellence and innovation here at Florida Atlantic.
The symposium would not have been possible without the generous contributions of Dr. Eric H. Shaw, Emeritus Professor at the College of Business, who provided cash awards for the first-place winners in the oral presentation categories. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Shaw for his ongoing support of our undergraduate research initiatives.
We would also like to recognize the Office of Undergraduate Research and Inquiry (OURI) as they remain committed to supporting and expanding undergraduate research across all colleges and campuses. OURI offers a range of university-wide programs such as undergraduate research grants, annual symposia, undergraduate research journals, LEARN programs, prestigious fellowships and scholarships, and an undergraduate research certificate.
