About The Adams Center for Entrepreneurship

Established through the generosity of Florida Atlantic University alumnus Scott H. Adams in 2001, the Adams Center for Entrepreneurship inspires and equips students to think entrepreneurially, solve meaningful problems, and create lasting value. As a core program of the Florida Atlantic Entrepreneurship Institute, the Adams Center for Entrepreneurship connects students, faculty, alumni, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders through hands-on learning experiences that prepare graduates to thrive in today's rapidly evolving economy.

Mission

The Adams Center for Entrepreneurship empowers students from every academic discipline to develop the entrepreneurial mindset, leadership skills, and practical experience needed to create new ventures, drive innovation within existing organizations, and address complex business and societal challenges. Through experiential learning, mentorship, and collaboration, students gain the confidence to transform ideas into impact.

Vision

To be a leading university entrepreneurship program that inspires innovation, develops entrepreneurial leaders, and creates opportunities that strengthen our communities, economy, and society.

Preparing Tomorrow's Business Leaders

Entrepreneurship is more than starting a business. It is a way of thinking that encourages creativity, resilience, collaboration, and problem solving. The Adams Center for Entrepreneurship prepares students to lead in startups, corporations, nonprofit organizations, government, and family businesses by combining academic excellence with real-world experience.

Students participate in innovative programs that emphasize cross-disciplinary education, community engagement, experiential learning, and venture creation. Along the way, they work alongside successful entrepreneurs, business executives, investors, and community leaders who provide mentorship, insight, and valuable professional connections.

As part of the Florida Atlantic Entrepreneurship Institute, the Adams Center for Entrepreneurship expands opportunities for students by connecting them with the University's broader entrepreneurship ecosystem, including venture acceleration, business mentorship, commercialization support, startup competitions, and community partnerships. The Adams Center for Entrepreneurship continues to work closely with the Department of Management Programs to provide outstanding academic experiences that complement students' classroom education.

Whether students aspire to launch a startup, innovate within an established organization, or become leaders in their chosen profession, the Adams Center for Entrepreneurship provides the knowledge, experience, and network to help them succeed.
