Questions about ITOM Minor and Certificate Programs

A. Current tuition rates can be found in the online FAU Catalog under "General Information/Tuition, Fees, and Refunds." Look for a link to the current fee bulletin. Also, you can look here: http://www.fau.edu/controller/student_information/tuition_breakdown.php

A. There is no criteria for acceptance to the minor except for junior or senior standing. If you are an FAU student, you can register for the courses and contact the ITOM Chair or College of Business Advisor if you have any restrictions in the system. Look for the schedule of courses at https://banner.fau.edu/FAUPdad/lwskdsch.p_dept_schd . If you are not a student, in order to obtain the Certificate, you have to register as non-degree seeking student first to obtain a Z number, and then register for the courses. Contact the Chair of ITOM if you have restrictions in the system. You can register as non-degree seeking by clicking on the following link: http://www.fau.edu/graduate/applyonline/domestic/nondegreeseeking/index.php

A. In order to obtain the Certificate, you have to register as non-degree seeking student first to obtain a Z number, and then register for the courses. Contact the Chair of ITOM if you have restrictions in the system. A Minor is available only to degree-seeking FAU students. If you are not an FAU student, in order to be admitted and complete the certificate program, you have to register as a non-degree seeking student. Please check: http://www.fau.edu/graduate/applyonline/domestic/nondegreeseeking/index.php
