Overview of Course Information
- Our MSBA program offers a wide variety of analytics courses and business courses from data mining and advanced business analytics to IT project management and management information systems & technology
- The MSBA program requires students to take a minimum of 10 courses (30 credits) to complete this degree,
- A 3.0 GPA or higher is required to graduate.
- The program does not offer a thesis option.

Recommended Course Order
- Students are generally advised to take GEB 6215 during their first semester in the program either before or concurrently with other ISM courses, as GEB 6215 requires you to complete integrated assignments in your other ISM courses.
- Please contact your Graduate Advisor in the College of Business to discuss more about GEB integration and how to create your Plan of Study (POS).
Course Offerings
- In the Fall and Spring semesters, courses are offered during 16-week terms; we do not offer 8-week courses in the Fall and Spring at this time. In the Summer semesters, course are generally offering during a 12-weeks term and course offerings are limited.
- All courses in the MSBA program are offered in the traditional in-person daytime format.
- Please check the FAU Course Schedule when planning your classes, and also work with your Graduate Advisor to create your Plan of Study (POS).

Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence Programs and Courses: The dedicated faculty at the Information Technology and Operations Management (ITOM) department in the College of Business offer high quality research and teaching in AI and Business Analytics and can help students learn core analytics skills that empowers them to extract actionable intelligence from the copious digital data relevant to the businesses. Through hands-on teaching, we offer a variety of courses, that teach not only just the concepts but also the applied skills to work directly with the data to analyze business issues and trends. We offer a variety of programs including a Master’s Degree in Business Analytics, a Graduate Certificate in Big Data Analytics, an Undergraduate Certificate & Minor in Business Analytics, an Undergraduate Certificate & Minor in Artificial Intelligence, and an MBA & MSITM Concentration in Business Analytics. | ||
