Undergraduate and MBA Programs in Marketing
The Department of Marketing offers programs of study that prepare students for professional careers in the growing fields of brand management, retailing management, digital marketing, social media, advertising, and personal selling and sales management. Applied projects are interwoven with academic coursework to expose students to a range of current marketing trends and strategies. Original research and creative scholarship among department faculty contribute to improvements in both the theory and practice of marketing. Students are prepared to become effective marketing managers in the customer-centered marketplace of tomorrow.
Which Undergraduate Marketing Program Is Right For Me?
Two undergraduate degree programs in Marketing are available. In addition, students may elect to Minor in Marketing and/or earn a Certificate in Marketing, and minor in Digital Marketing and/or earn a Certificate in Digital Marketing.

Which Graduate Program is Right for Me?
The Department of Marketing offers graduate programs in marketing that will advance students’ professional careers to the next level. We offer a variety of options of graduate study depending on your time, educational abilities, and career experience. A general MBA is offered in several varieties and a Marketing Specialization is offered for each.
Masters in Business Administration (MBA)
MBA students complete requirements of the Marketing Specialization in addition to the core business courses taken by all MBA students in the College of Business.
Ph.D. with Marketing Concentration
The PhD concentration in marketing is designed to prepare students for a career in research, teaching, and service at the university level. The program is very selective, and does not admit students every year.
